Pennsylvania Peer Support Coalition

The Pennsylvania Peer Support Coalition is a statewide network of people who use their own mental health recovery experiences to support others. Coalition members are people who use peer support skills to inspire hope that recovery from mental illness is possible.

We believe that everyone who offers peer support to others deserves support too. The Coalition provides trainings and education about peer support and recovery, helps create peer support networking groups across Pennsylvania and advocates for the needs of people who provide peer support.

This Web site serves as the center for information about peer support in Pennsylvania. Through this site we provide information for people who are interested in learning more about peer support, becoming certified as a peer support specialist, participating in continued education of peer support specialists, and finding job opportunities in Pennsylvania. You will also find resources of interest to peer support specialists and their employers.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Pennsylvania Peer Support Coalition and have questions, contact Rachelle Weiss, Coalition Coordinator, for more information.
