Continuing Education Trainings

Upcoming Trainings for Peer Specialists

The following are continuing education opportunities for Peer Specialists in Pennsylvania.

Peer Support Continuing Education Training Day

February 24, 2012 - 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The PA Peer Support Coalition is pleased to announce the 8th Peer Support Continuing Education Training Day, to be held at the Training Center on Philhaven's campus in Mt. Gretna, PA.

This initiative was launched in response to a need expressed by individuals who use peer support skills for low-cost continuing education. However, anyone is welcome to attend. Most workshops are presented by peers, in keeping with the spirit of peer support. Certificates of attendance will be provided.

The training is free. Workshops are provided by volunteers, and the space for the training was graciously donated by Philhaven. Individuals who attend are responsible for their own travel and lunch. There is a cafeteria on the campus where lunch can be purchased.

Register online.
