Coalition Steering Committee Structure
Each region of Pennsylvania has two representatives to the Steering Committee, plus at least one alternate.

The regional representatives attend regular Steering Committee meetings. Alternates may attend meetings depending on the Coalition's needs.
Executive subcommittee
The Steering Committee is guided by an executive subcommittee. The executive subcommittee includes a chair, co-chair, and secretary. Executive subcommittee members must be regular representatives on the Steering Committee.
Chair:
The chair creates the agendas for Steering Committee meetings and facilitates discussion with the meetings. The chair also serves on the Pennsylvania Mental Health Consumers' Association's Board of Directors as an at-large member.
Co-chair:
The co-chair assists the chair as necessary. The co-chair takes over responsibilities of the chair if the chair is unable to complete his or her responsibilities.
Secretary:
The secretary takes notes at the Steering Committee meetings, prepares minutes, and helps distribute the minutes.
Ad hoc committees
The Steering Committee sometimes forms ad hoc committees, or workgroups, to address particular goals as they arise. Ad hoc committees may be open to the general Coalition membership.
